Airell Anthony Hayles, fellow of the Royal Society Arts and founder of the horror production company The Haunted Cinema studied theatre and film at Goldsmiths university before working as a story analyst for the Fyzz Faculty.

His sketch comedy ‘Sketch Engine’ was produced for the Camden Fringe, and a comic play, Beyond the Page, was also produced at the Kings Head theatre, Islington.

As well as having had a couple of feature screenplays optioned, his short film Blue Moon (also directed by Martyn Pick) was internationally acclaimed. It was a hit on the genre festival circuit and played at Screamfest, held in Hollywood at the historical Grauman’s Chinese theatre. The feature film version is currently in pre- production.
